Window tint Films are not the same- Tint Thickness and the Heat rejection technology behind it matters. We have numerous window tinting films to choose from. They are generally known as Nickel, Carbon and Ceramic.
Most companies carry a 1ml thick (or less) Chinese made tint film and price you by the darkness of it. Those tint films are the least quality window tint film available. The technology is about 20 years old and they provide very little heat rejection. They only provide a year warranty. Some of these tinters know they will not be open by the following year (fly by night) and lie by promise you a lifetime warranty which they know they won't be able to back up.
Respectable window tinting companies carry 1.5 - 3ml auto window tint films. They may call these Nickel, Carbon or Ceramic window tint Film. The thicker the film- the more heat it will reject. In the Florida mobile window tinting industry - there are only a handful of respectable window tinting service providers who you can trust. Do your window tinting research- make sure the window tint film you are getting is at least 1.8ml for Carbon film and no less than 3ml for Ceramic.
Window Tint are priced based on the thickness and the difficulty of installation, NOT the shade of darkness. If you are being charged based on how dark the film is, you are not dealing with a reliable tampa window tint installation service provider.
